The new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 adventure tourer has started to arrive at the dealerships in India. The motorcycle, which was launched in the Indian market in April 2021, is available in two variants – Standard and Special – and four paint options. The prices range between Rs 16.90-20.26 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Both variants of the motorcycle use the same 1,252cc, V-twin, Revolution Max 1250 engine that produces 150bhp of maximum power at 9,000rpm and 127Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The styling cues on the American adventure tourer include a tall windscreen, a semi-fairing design, a 21-litre fuel tank, split-style seats, and a side-slung exhaust. Both variants get alloy wheels as standard while tubeless-tyre compatible cross-spoke wheels are available as an optional extra.
The feature list comprises full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled 6.8-inch colour-TFT touchscreen display, and a USB C-type outlet. The Special variant further benefits from an electronically adjustable semi-active suspension setup, tyre pressure monitoring system, adaptive headlight, heated grips, steering damper, and an industry-first Adaptive Ride Height (optional) system.
The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 rivals the BMW R 1250 GS range and the Ducati Multistrada V4 series in the Indian market.
