- New Destini 125 price announcement next month
- Rivals TVS Jupiter 125, Suzuki Access 125
- Gets brand new design
Hero MotoCorp is likely to announce the price of the new Destini 125 at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. The launch of this 125cc scooter was earlier planned for 2024 but got delayed.
It looks like the company will finally reveal the price of this stylish 125cc commuter scooter. The Gurgaon-based manufacturer decided to give this scooter a brand-new design which is why it gets things like a new LED headlight and side panel. The overall design language is on the modern retro front and it works quite well for the scooter.
The top variant of the scooter gets a black shade with tastefully executed copper inserts on the apron, mirrors, bottom of the side panels, and the tail section. The dark brown colour of the floorboard matches the colour of the wide and long seat. Moreover, the pillion grab-rail with an integrated backrest, which appears to be padded, is a useful touch as well.
In the features department, the Destini 125 gets a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. The 125cc engine makes 9bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5,500rpm. It is paired with a CVT.
The frame is suspended by a telescopic fork and a mono-shock. What’s also interesting is that the new Destini 125 has the same alloy wheels that we see on the Hero Xoom. Braking duties, meanwhile, will be taken care of by a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear. The entry-level variant of the new Destini 125 will most likely have a drum brake at the front as well.
The Hero Destini 125 is expected to be priced between Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 85,000. It will go up against the Suzuki Access 125 and the TVS Jupiter 125.
