Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to give the Destini 125 a big upgrade. A few pictures of the heavily revised Destini 125 have been leaked.
From the pictures, it is clear that the Destini 125 has received a massive makeover. The overall styling of the scooter has been changed completely. The front section has received the most changes with the headlamp unit and turn indicators being revised fully. The shape has also been changed and that sharp nose has made way for a smoother front. The company has also skipped out on using too much chrome on this model.
In terms of performance, Hero MotoCorp is unlikely to give the Destini 125 any upgrades. It will continue to be powered by the same 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes 9bhp at 7000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5500rpm. This motor is mated to a CVT transmission.
It looks like Hero MotoCorp has received a lot of market feedback, and there was a need to change the overall aesthetics of the scooter. It almost looks like a new model but with the Destini 125 brand. The company could launch this new Destini as we get closer to the festive season.
