- New Destini 125 revealed
- Gets brand new design language
- Launch this month
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the new Destini 125 which replaces the old model on sale since 2018.
The new Destini has received massive changes in the styling department. The company has decided to make the scooter look different through a new design language. The fascia and the rear of the new Destini 125 look far more aspirational than the outgoing model. Through this design language, the company wanted to give the scooter an upmarket and premium feel. The front gets a new LED headlight with a projector lamp as well. A metal fender does the job upfront. Another big change has come in the form of larger 12 wheels at both ends.
The 125cc engine which makes 9bhp of peak power and 10.4Nm of torque remains the same. The company is claiming an ICAT fuel efficiency of 59kmpl. However, the real-world figure could be different. Also, some work has been done to improve the refinement of the engine.
The new Destini 125 will be sold in two variants—VX and ZX—and five colours. The prices haven’t been revealed yet, but they are expected to go up marginally.
