Hero MotoCorp has updated its premium commuter, the Glamour 125, for 2023 in India. The updated model has been priced at Rs 82,348 for the drum brake variant and Rs 86,348 for the disc brake trim (both prices are ex-showroom). The company has mainly updated the motorcycle in terms of features and ergonomics.
Hero has equipped the new Glamour 125 with a digital instrument cluster that shows all the crucial information like real-time mileage. For juicing up their smartphones, riders also have access to a mobile charging port now. Another smart feature in the Glamour, that was already present in the motorcycle, is the idle start-stop system that automatically turns the engine off if it’s left idling for a few seconds. This functionality aids in extracting better fuel efficiency.
With the aim to enhance comfort, Hero MotoCorp has also shortened the seat height by 8mm for the rider and 17mm for the pillion to make it easier to get on and off the bike. Furthermore, the fuel tank of the bike is flatter and the single-piece seat is more spacious than the previous model. Apart from these changes, the rest of the aspects of the bike remain unchanged.
It continues to be powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that deliver 10.72bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm. This motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. Underpinned by a diamond-type frame, it rides on 18-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. As for the available colour options, Hero has introduced the bike in three colour trims - Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue-Black and Sports Red-Black.
