Hero Motocorp recently revived the Karizma name with the XMR 210 in India. The motorcycle is built on an all-new platform and comes with everything different from the previous generations. Well, the new Hero Karizma XMR comes with aggressive styling that feature sharp lines and creases in the bodywork that includes a full-fairing. The headlamp as well as tail lamp and turn signals are full-LED units.
Along with LED illumination, Hero has also equipped the Karizma XMR with a fully digital instrument console. It offers all the necessary readouts but also gets Bluetooth connectivity, allowing the rider to pair their smartphone with the cluster and get access to turn-by-turn navigation. That said, it also comes with dual-channel ABS as standard. Powering the Karizma XMR is a new 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled four-valve mill. It produces 25.15bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slip-and-assist clutch.
As for hardware, the motorcycle uses telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. Its braking equipment includes a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc with ABS. These are mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 100/80 front and 140/70 rear tyres. Hero is offering the new Karizma XMR in a single variant and three paint options – Iconic Yellow, Turbo Red, and Phantom Matte Black.
