Hero Motocorp is upping its game with updates to their products. After launching the Glamour Xtec in the country recently, Hero introduced the new Maestro Edge 125 that gets a number of changes compared to the previous model. While we will get to those in a bit, let’s look at the colour options the Maestro Edge 125 now comes with. To begin with, it gets the Prismatic Yellow colour that features hints of grey and black that lend a sporty effect. In a similar graphics scheme is the Prismatic Purple colour.
The Maestro Edge is also offered in dual-tone colours like Panther Black that comes with red inner panels, floorboard and graphics and the Pearl Silver White that is combined with tan brown. Then there is the Candy Blazing Red and Matte Techno Blue that get black graphics.
While Hero Motocorp has added a new colour and revised the rest of the options, it has also discontinued the Matte Brown, Matte Grey, Matte Red and Stealth Black paint options that were available previously. Nevertheless, the Maestro Edge 125 is now decked with decent features like a full-digital instrument cluster that is Bluetooth enabled and offers turn-by-turn navigation, LED-lighting for the sharper-looking headlamp. It even gets a subtly-revised styling.
As for the powertrain, there are no changed there and the scooter comes powered by a 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 9bhp at 7,000rpm 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.
Hero is offering the Maestro Edge 125 in three variants- Drum, Disc and Connected priced at Rs 72,250, Rs 76,500 and Rs 79,750 respectively. It competes against the Suzuki Access 125 and the Honda Activa 125 in our country. And in other news, we can also expect Hero to update the Destini 125 with similar features in the next couple of months.
