- Indian launch likely soon
- Expected to feature an all-black paint theme
Hero MotoCorp has teased a new variant of the Super Splendor ahead of its Indian launch. The teaser does not reveal many details, however, it hints that this upcoming version will feature an all-black finish. Do note that the company already offers an all-black version of the 100cc Splendor Plus that gets a black base paint along with Hero and Splendor Plus logos on the fuel tank and the side panel, respectively.
The changes are likely to be restricted to cosmetics only and this new version of the Super Splendor 125 will most likely retain the mechanical specifications and hardware from the standard variant. Thus, this new variant should come with the BS6-compliant 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm.
The hardware will comprise telescopic front forks, five-step adjustable rear springs, and 130mm drum brakes on both wheels. The motorcycle is also available with the option of a 240mm front disc brake. The safety net on all variants includes a combined braking system.
This new version of the Super Splendor 125 should arrive in the Indian market very soon.
