Hero MotoCorp has updated its Indian product portfolio with the launch of the new Xoom 110cc scooter. This scooter is targeted towards young buyers and is available in three variants. Here, we explain all the differences between the three variants of this new scooter.
Features
Standard features across the variants include an LED projector headlight, an H-shaped LED DRL and an H-shaped LED taillight. Further, all variants also get a real-time fuel economy indicator and a low fuel indicator. Then, the VX and ZX variants benefit from a fully-digital instrument cluster, i3S technology for better fuel efficiency, a front USB charger with a glovebox, and a boot light. The range-topping ZX variant further gets Hero Intelligent Cornering Lights (first-in-segment) and Bluetooth connectivity that brings turn-by-turn navigation and incoming call alerts to the scooter. Do note that while the VX and the ZX variants get a fully digital instrument cluster, both versions get a different backlight.
Styling and Colours
The top-spec ZX version gets 3D ‘XOOM’ badges, while the lower variants get a decal on the body panels. Further, the ZX variant also gets diamond-cut alloy wheels that look more appealing than the units on the VX version. Meanwhile, the LX variant uses sheet metal wheels. Then, the colour palette for the ZX version comprises four options while the VX and LX variants get three and one option, respectively. Check out the variant-wise colour choices in the table below:

Hardware
The braking setup on the LX and VX variants includes 130mm drum units at both ends. The ZX version, on the other hand, uses a 190mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum to perform the anchoring tasks. Then, the VX and the ZX variants benefit from a wider rear tyre (100/80) as compared to the unit on the LX version (90/90). Meanwhile, all variants use a 90/90-section front tyre. With a disc brake setup, the ZX model tips the weighing scale at 109kg, while the LX and VX variants are 108kg heavy.
Prices
