The new Hero XPulse 200 4V, which debuted in the Indian market in October last year, has received its first price hike. The four-valve variant of the Hero XPulse 200 is now available at Rs 1,30,150 as against Rs 1,28,150 at launch, thus making it Rs 2,000 more expensive than before.
The price hike does not bring any styling or mechanical revisions to the motorcycle. It is available in three colours – Trail Blue, Blitz Blue, and Red Raid. The feature list comprises an LED headlight, an LED taillight, a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster, and a single-channel ABS.
The mechanical specifications retain the 200cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine that makes 18.8bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The two-valve variant, in comparison, makes 17.8bhp and 16.45Nm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
In other updates, Hero MotoCorp has announced that the first batch of the XPulse 200 4V is sold out in India. However, the company hasn’t revealed the exact sales numbers of the units sold in the country. The two-wheeler maker has also announced the commencement of bookings for the second lot of the motorcycle.
