- New Xpulse 200 4V rally edition leaked
- Gets rally fully adjustable suspension
- Launch very soon
Just a few days ago, we talked about Hero MotoCorp’s new Xpulse 200 Rally Edition getting leaked through government approval specs. And now, the pictures of the soon-to-be-launched model have gone viral.
The Gurgaon-based brand will soon give the Xpulse 200 4V a rally update. That means we’ll see the rally suspension that offers total adjustment and extensive travel, a new side stand and a handlebar riser. From the leaked pictures, it is also clear that the brand will unveil a new Hero MotoSport factory team paint scheme. While the bike in the picture doesn't have knobby tyres, our sources confirm that it will eventually come and will be fitted at the time of delivery.
In terms of performance, there will be hardly any changes to the motor. The 200cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor makes around 19bhp of peak power and 17Nm of torque. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The overall performance is where the Xpulse lacks that excitement, especially when ridden on highways. But things should get interesting when the brand unveils its new 300cc liquid-cooled platform sometime next year. We are expecting Hero MotoCorp to launch the new rally edition in the next few weeks, but this will make the bike pricier, by at least Rs 40,000.
