- Hero Xpulse 200 4V launch tomorrow
- To get a more powerful engine
- Could get new colours
Hero is expected to launch the new Xpulse 200 4V in India tomorrow, 7 October. The company has subtly revealed the launch date through its social channels. Now, the biggest change the new Hero Xpulse 200 will get is a 4-valve engine. Compared to the current 2-valve motor, it is expected to have more power and torque, aiding the Xpulse’s high-speed and highway-touring abilities. The current model churns out 17.8bhp and 16.45Nm. Apart from this, Hero will also offer new colour schemes on the new Hero Xpulse 200.
As shown in teaser images, it will also sport revised switchgear which now gets an integrated starter and engine cut-off switch. Hero would also offer the Xpulse Rally Kit, although whether it would be offered as a new variant or as an accessory is unclear at the moment. This update would bring about a price hike. However, given that Hero recently revised the prices of the Xpulse 200, it is likely to be around Rs 5,000-Rs 6,000 over the current model’s Rs 1.20 lakh, ex-showroom pricing.
