- New colour options lend it a fresh look
- Gets a new four-valve head
- Power and torque output marginally increased
Hero MotoCorp recently updated its portfolio by launching the new four-valve iteration of the Xpulse 200T. Amongst a bunch of updates that it has received is the introduction of three new colour options which lend it a fresh look.
The most vibrant paint scheme of the Xpulse 200T 4V is the Funk Lime Yellow which gets silver body panels accompanied by contrasting fluorescent accents in certain areas. Meanwhile, the most understated trim is Matte Shield Gold which looks stealthy with a combination of dark grey and bronze colours. Lastly, the one which we had already seen in leaked images is the Sports Red colour scheme with black body panels complemented by red decals.
On the hardware front, the most significant change comes in the form of a tweaked powerplant which comprises a four-valve head instead of the previous two-valve setup. This has helped them extract more performance, similar to its existing ADV sibling, the Xpulse 200 4V. So, the new Xpulse 200 4V produces 18.83bhp and 17.3Nm which is up from its predecessor’s 17.83bhp and 16.15Nm. The rest of the cycle parts including 17-inch alloys, telescopic forks, a monoshock, and dual discs have remained unchanged.
Hero has launched the Xpulse 200T 4V with a price tag of Rs 1,25,726 (ex-showroom Mumbai). It competes against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Honda Hornet 2.0, and Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
