- New XPulse 210 under development
- Will get a new 210cc liquid-cooled engine from Karizma XMR
- Global launch likely next year
Hero MotoCorp is working on launching the next-generation XPulse. The company is developing a new XPulse 210, which will be launched in India next year.
Recently, a fully camouflaged bike prototype was spotted testing in North India. The picture shows that the new XPulse will receive the new 210cc liquid-cooled engine that was first seen on the Karizma XMR. This new engine makes 25bhp of peak power and a maximum torque of 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The spotted XPulse looked almost identical to the current model, but there’s a high chance the bike will get massive styling changes when launched. Many of its parts could be shared with the current XPulse to keep costs in check, but it still needs to be seen whether Hero MotoCorp plans to use the same chassis for the 210cc variant.
We expect the new XPulse 210 to make its public debut sometime next year, as the brand will launch a new 440cc motorcycle early next year.
