-Gets colour TFT display
-Gets LED projector lights
-Expected to be powered by the Karizma ZMR’s 210cc engine
The new Hero Xpulse 210 has been officially teased on social media platforms, a day before its official unveiling at the EICMA 2024. The Xpulse 210, as the name suggests, has a new 210cc engine that is seen in the Hero Karizma XMR. A close look at the teaser shows some interesting details.
The styling appears to be an evolution of the current Hero Xpulse design. There’s a round LED projector headlight with a brace around it, a sharper design for the beak, a tall windscreen and a large fuel tank. The side and tail panels are also new. One can also spot the LED turn indicators and LED tail lights in the teaser.
The Xpulse 210 will get a new colour TFT display that is a welcome change from the reverse LCD we’ve seen on most Hero motorcycles so far. The layout is pretty neat, with a bar-type tachometer, large speedo, coolant temperature, gear position indicator and other readouts. There’s a ‘Road’ mode as well which suggests that it may be a ride mode or an ABS mode.
Powering the new Xpulse 210 is a 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 25bhp at 9,250rpm and 20Nm at 7,250rpm in the Karizma XMR. Expect Hero to tune the engine as well as the overall gearing to suit the on and off-road applications of the Xpulse 210. Speaking of, the bike will have a six-speed gearbox. The higher power and sixth gear should give the Xpulse 210 the ability to cruise down the highway at quick speeds.
Hero will showcase the Xpulse 210 on 5 November at the EICMA 2024.
