- New Hero Xtreme 160R launch on 14 June
- Will receive USD forks at the front
- Will go against TVS Apache RTR 160 4V
Hero MotoCorp will launch the new model of one of its most exciting motorcycles this month. The new Xtreme 160R will be launched in India on 14 June.
A few days ago, we told you that the brand is expected to launch many new products this year, and one of the first bikes will be the upgraded Xtreme 160R. The new Xtreme 160R will receive a host of significant upgrades. The bike has already been spotted testing with upside-down front forks and a revised instrument cluster. A few more additional features will also come with the bike. The new Xtreme 160R will also get new dual-tone paint schemes to make the motorcycle look more aspirational.
Through this new Xtreme 160R, Hero MotoCorp is expected to steal some sales from the TVS and the Bajaj. This motorcycle is known for its excellent handling capabilities. In fact, it is the bike that offers the most fun in Hero's line-up. However, the bike didn't sell as expected.
We are expecting a marginal price hike on the new Xtreme 160R. The current model has been priced at Rs 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the single-disc variant. Its top-end model, the Stealth edition, has a price tag of Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
