Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Xtreme 200S 4V variant in India, and this motorcycle benefits from several styling and mechanical upgrades over the two-valve version. Previously, we brought you the top five highlights and listed all the colour options for this motorcycle. Here, we bring a detailed image gallery of the new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V.
The overall design of the new Xtreme 200S 4V remains similar to the two-valve version. Thus, it retains a full-fairing, tinted visor, muscular fuel tank, step-up saddle, side-slung exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Notably, the bold graphics on the fairing, fuel tank, and rear panel are new additions, and these distinguish the 4V variant from the 2V model.
The colour palette has been updated as well, and the new Xtreme 200S 4V is available in three paint choices. These include Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic colours.
Then, Hero MotoCorp has also revised the ergonomics on the 4V variant with a clip-on-style handlebar.
Apart from the styling revisions, the new Xtreme 200S 4V also gets mechanical upgrades in the form of a four-valve mechanism. This motor is compatible with OBD2 norms and E20 fuel requirements.
Notably, the displacement has remained unchanged, and the new Xtreme 200S 4V continues to use a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, this motor delivers 18.9bhp at 8,000rpm and 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm.
The feature list is similar to the two-valve version as well, and the new Xtreme 200S 4V continues to use an LED headlight, LED taillight, and bulb-type turn indicators.
Further, the full-digital LCD console is Bluetooth-enabled and, apart from regular ride-related data, it shows the gear position, eco-mode indicator, service reminder, trip meter, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The hardware setup comprises telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock to handle the shock absorption tasks. The anchoring setup comprises petal-type disc brakes on both ends.
Then, the safety net on this motorcycle comprises a single-channel ABS and a side-stand engine cut-off function.
