- Available in a single variant
- Listed in three, dual-tone colours
- Priced at Rs. 1.41 lakh
Hero MotoCorp has introduced the new Xtreme 200S 4V in India to rival the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer SF and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. The four-valve variant of the Xtreme 200S is available in a single variant and three, dual-tone colour choices – Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
These paint themes are now joined by bold graphics that are visible on the fairing, fuel tank, and rear panel. Meanwhile, the overall design of the four-valve variant remains similar to the two-valve version. Thus, it retains a full-fairing, tinted visor, muscular fuel tank, step-up saddle, side-slung exhaust, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Notably, the 4V version comes with a clip-on-style handlebar instead of the flat unit on the two-valve variant.
Apart from the revised styling in the form of new graphics, the new Xtreme 200S 4V also boasts an updated engine setup that now uses a four-valve mechanism. It is powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, this motor delivers a maximum output and peak torque of 18.9bhp at 8,000rpm and 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm, respectively. It also meets the OBD2 norms and E20 fuel requirements.
As mentioned above, the new Xtreme 200S 4V is available in a single variant and has been priced at Rs. 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making it marginally more expensive than the two-valve variant.
