A new 110cc Honda motorcycle has been photographed undergoing trials in India. While Honda already has four 110cc motorcycles in its line-up, we expect this model to be a replacement for the ageing CB Twister commuter motorcycle.
The fuel tank has been extended by a few inches to give the motorcycle an edgy styling. While the headlamp design looks similar to the Dream range, it gets a larger front cowl and different bodywork to set it apart from the other Dream models. Even the rear section is significantly different from the Dream series, though the design for alloy wheels has been carried over.
Mechanically, this new model is expected to be identical to the Dream commuter range. It is built around the same diamond frame and powered by a 110cc single-cylinder engine. This engine is mated to a four-speed transmission and produces 8.25bhp and 8.63Nm of torque.
Like the CB Twister, we expect this new model to be offered in two variants –a base model with a drum brake at the front and the other with a disc brake. It will rival the other 110cc commuter motorcycles from Hero MotoCorp, like the Passion X Pro and the Splendor iSmart.
