- Updated Activa 125 launched
- Gets updated OBD 2B compliant engine
- Equipped with a new TFT instrument cluster
Honda has introduced an updated Activa 125 which will go on sale in a few days. This scooter has received some minor styling changes but gets some good feature upgrades.
The updated Activa 125 will be sold in two variants: DLX and H-Smart. The DLX will cost Rs 94,422, and the H-Smart will cost Rs 97,146. Both variants get the updated design, but only the H-Smart, which is now the top-spec variant, gets all the new features.
Honda has given this 125cc scooter a new 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth compatibility. To use this feature, the rider has to download the Honda RoadSync app and then connect it to the TFT display. There’s also a type-C charging port.
The 125cc single-cylinder is now OBD 2B compliant and produces the same power output as the outgoing model. The company has not shared a fuel efficiency figure, but the scooter now has an idling stop system that is claimed to increase fuel efficiency.
The new Honda Activa 125 is available in six colours and will be available at all showrooms across India. It competes with the TVS Jupiter 125 and the Suzuki Access 125.
