Honda recently launched the Activa 20th Anniversary Edition in India to commemorate 20 years of the Activa’s presence in the market. Here we list down the few elements that set it apart from the standard version.
Pricing
The Honda Activa 20th Anniversary Edition is available in two variants just like the regular version- standard and DLX. However, there is a slight difference in pricing. While the special edition standard and DLX variants are priced at Rs 66,816 and 68,316 respectively, the same versions of the Activa 6G cost Rs 65,316 and Rs 66,816 each.
New colours
Honda is offering the Activa 20th Anniversary Edition in a new Matte Mature Brown colour and Pearl Nightstar Black. These paint schemes are exclusive to the special-edition. And while the regular Activa gets a silver finished grabrail, the special edition sports a colour-matched grabrail.
Different graphics
Apart from the new colour, Honda has also adorned the Anniversary Edition with new graphics. It gets gold and silver stripes running from the front apron to the tail lamp. Moreover, the Activa 20th Anniversary also features an embossed logo and a golden Activa badge on the side. And the Pearl Nightstar Black colour additionally gets a tan brown seat and floorboard as well.
Black-out look
While the regular Activa 6G comes with silver-finished steel wheels and a silver crankcase cover, the Activa 20th Anniversary gets both these components in black that go well with the new colour scheme.
Mechanically the same
Powering the special edition Activa is the same 110cc, fuel-injected engine as the regular version. It produces 7.68bhp of power and 8.79Nm of torque. The scooter also rides on telescopic forks up front and a three-step adjustable spring at the rear. Meanwhile, braking duties are completed by 130mm drum brakes at both ends with CBS (combi braking system).
