Honda recently launched the Activa 6G, the updated version of its highest-selling model in India. The scooter is available in two variants- Standard and Deluxe which are priced at Rs 63,912 and Rs 65,412 (ex-showroom, Delhi) each.
As part of the 2020 update, the Activa gets slight tweaks to its bodywork and sports hints of chrome on the front apron and a sleeker tail section. Furthermore, Honda is offering the scooter in six colour options- Glitter Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Dazzle Yellow Mettalic, Black, Pearl Precious White and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
Apart from these changes, the Activa 6G remains similar to the previous model visually. The scooter is powered by a 109cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 7.7bhp and 8.79Nm; a drop of 0.3bhp and 0.3Nm as compared to the BS4 model. It also rides on a larger, 12-inch front wheel and comes with telescopic forks up front.
At the rear, it continues with a 10-inch wheel and monoshock suspension. In terms of added features, the Activa 6G boasts of an ACG silent starter motor, engine start-stop switch, a double lid external fuel filler cap and 18-litres of underseat storage space.
Bookings for the scooter are yet to begin although deliveries will commence from 1 February 2020.
