Honda 2Wheelers India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the Activa 6G Premium Edition. This variant of the company’s highest-selling scooter gets styling updates in the form of new paint themes. The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer has launched the Activa 6G Premium Edition in three colours – Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marsal Green Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue. The former two, as the name suggests, feature a matte finish while the Pearl Siren Blue gets a gloss finish.
Apart from the paint themes, the Premium Edition also gets golden-coloured wheels and front apron garnish. Further, the Activa logo on the body panel, too, features a gold-finish and it is accompanied by the ‘Premium’ decal. Lastly, the inner panels and the seat cover feature a dark brown shade.
The changes are limited to the styling updates mentioned above. The design, features, and specifications remain unchanged. Thus, the Premium Edition retains an LED headlight, combined braking system, an external fuel filler cap, analogue instrument cluster, engine start/stop switch, and multifunction key slot. The mechanical specifications retain the 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 7.68bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.84Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.
This variant of the Activa 6G has been priced at Rs 75,400. In comparison, the DLX variant of the standard model is available at Rs 74,400.
