New Honda Africa Twin Teased: But is it the new CRF850L or CRF1100L?

Honda’s Europe YouTube channel has released a new teaser video by the name ‘True Adventure’. The teaser video doesn’t mention the name of the bike, but we all know the tag’ True Adventure’ is related to Africa Twin. 

Interestingly, the Japanese manufacturer hasn’t used the Africa Twin branding in this teaser or in the description of the video. That makes us think that the company doesn’t want to reveal the displacement of the upcoming motorcycle. Honda always used the Africa Twin CRF1000L in their marketing push, so it’s obvious that the company won’t just use Africa Twin anywhere. 

So there are two possibilities. This upcoming bike could be the bigger CRF1100L or the rumoured CRF850L. We are more inclined to believe that this could be the CRF1100L for two simple reasons. Honda would want to keep their biggest and the most important launch for EICMA, and with a teaser coming up in the month of July means, the official reveal is likely to happen in August or by September latest. So it makes sense to unveil the already established brand at a non-EICMA event.
