- Honda CB200X priced at Rs 1.44 lakh
- Offered in three colours
- Gets same 184cc engine as Hornet 2.0
Honda has launched the CB200X in India with a price tag of Rs 1.44 lakh. The motorcycle is based on the Hornet 2.0 but costs Rs 13,000 more than the latter. Now, Honda is offering the CB200X in a choice of three colour options. To start off with, there is the Sports Red paint that gets white and black graphics on a red base colour. The CB200X is also offered in Pearl Nightstar Black that features white and red graphics on the semi-fairing. Lastly there is the Selene Silver Metallic that has a hint of matte finish to it. The colour sports white and orange highlights. Nonetheless, all colour options sport a grey radiator shroud and come with golden-finished fork bottles as standard.
Now the Honda CB200X draws styling inspiration from its bigger sibling, the CB500X that is also available in India. So it gets a half fairing with a little beak and prominent radiator shrouds. Moreover, it also gets a tinted windscreen and knuckle guards as standard that come fitted with LED turn signals. And to amplify its touring character, Honda has equipped the CB200X with a taller-set handlebar, comfy seat, and block pattern tyres.
Besides these changes, the new Honda CB200X is similar to the Hornet 2.0 and comes powered by a 184cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 17bhp and 16.1Nm. It also gets full-LED lighting all around, a single-channel ABS, and a digital instrument cluster. In terms of competition, the Honda CB200X will go up against the Hero Xpulse 200 that is comparatively more off-road focused.
