New Honda CB300F Review: Image Gallery

We recently had the chance to sample Honda’s latest offering- the CB300F for a short while. You can read the entire story in our expert reviews section or watch the video on the BikeWale YouTube channel. But here, we bring you all details of the Honda CB300F through this image gallery.

Honda CB300F Fuel Tank

The Honda CB300F is said to be styled on the lines of the CB500F that is not yet available in India- but is expected to be soon. However, the bike looks more like a jacked-up Hornet 2.0. It gets an aggressively-styled bodywork, brawny tank extensions, and a stubby exhaust setup. There also is the CB650R-like LED headlamp and golden-finished fork bottles.

That said, we expected Honda to offer the CB300F in different colour schemes to further set it apart from the Hornet. At present, it is offered in the same colour scheme as the latter. So, you get Sports Red, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.

Now, in terms of features, the Honda CB300F is decently equipped. It gets full-LED lighting, Honda Selectable Torque Control, dual-channel ABS, and a digital instrument cluster. The company is also offering a DLX version that comes with Bluetooth connectivity that provides access to calls, music and navigation.

At its heart, the CB300F comes packed with a 293cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 23.8bhp and 25.6Nm. This oil-cooled motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox and is tuned to offer mid-range grunt. It feels refined for the most part till it reaches closer to its redline- then vibrations are felt on footpeg, handlebar and fuel tank.

With everything said, the Honda CB300F as a motorcycle is built well, looks attractive and has good handling prowess with decent features. However, when its Rs 2.25 lakh price tag is put in the picture, the motorcycle doesn’t offer much value for money compared to its rivals- the Yamaha FZ25 and Suzuki Gixxer 250
