Honda is all set to unveil a new variant of the CB350 in India on 16 February. And before it arrives, we tell you all that we know about the upcoming motorcycle from Honda.
Styling
The teaser released by the Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer not only revealed the unveil date but also part of the motorcycle’s styling- the rear end to be exact. And it is likely to get a scrambler-inspired styling complete with dual-purpose tyres and a ribbed-pattern for the rider seat. We can expect it to come with a mix of chrome and blacked-out bits to accentuate its neo-retro styling.
Features
The Honda CB350 Scrambler will most definitely come with full-LED lighting for the headlamp, tail lamp and turn indicators. Moreover, we can expect it to feature the same digital instrument cluster as the H’Ness CB350 that offers Bluetooth connectivity and navigation assist. Honda will also plonk in a dual-channel ABS as standard.
Engine
We expect the new Honda CB350 Scrambler to be powered by the same 348cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as the H’Ness CB350. It is likely to produce the same 20.7bhp and 30Nm and come mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Cycle Parts
The CB350 Scrambler appears to pick up its tail light and turn signals from the CB300R’s parts bin, it sports chrome-finished twin shocks at the rear similar to the units on the CB350. It also seems to ride on a 17-inch wheel at the rear that is an inch smaller than the H’Ness CB350’s wheel.
Pricing
While there is no confirmation from the manufacturer or dealers about its pricing, the new CB350 variant could demand a slight premium over the H’ness CB350’s pricing which ranges from Rs 1.86 lakh to Rs 1.92 lakh.
