Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has introduced the Hness CB 350 in the country. The new product from the Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler brand will rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the upcoming new Meteor 350 and the Jawa range of motorcycles. The Hness CB 350 is available in two variants – DLX and DLX PRO – and they have been priced at Rs 1.85 lakh and Rs 1.90 lakh respectively (ex-showroom Gurugram). The new Hness CB 350 features a retro-design that includes a circular headlamp, rounded fuel tank, single-piece seat, chopped fenders and a chrome-finished exhaust.
The DLX variant is offered in three colours – red, black, and green. The DLX Pro is available in three dual-tone paint options – black with silver, blue with white and black with grey.
The retro-styling is accompanied by modern features such as a LED headlight, an LED taillight, and a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster.
Apart from the standard information, the instrument cluster also shows information about Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), ABS, Side stand indicator with engine inhibitor, ECO indicator, HSVCS, gear position indicator and a battery voltage meter. The DLX Pro further benefits from Honda Smartphone Voice Control System.
The 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine on the Hness CB 350 makes 20.8bhp at 5,500rpm and 30Nm at 3,000rpm. The motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox that features an assist and a slipper clutch mechanism.
The motorcycle rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. The alloy wheels are wrapped in 100/90-section front and 130/70-section rear tyres.
The CB 350 features steel double-cradle frame. The suspension setup comprises of telescopic front forks and dual springs at the back.
The braking setup includes a 310mm disc at the front and a 240mm rotor at the rear. The safety features on the Hness CB 350 include dual-channel ABS, Honda Selectable Torque Control, side stand engine inhibitor and a hazard light switch.
