Indian Motorcycle recently unveiled the Scout Bobber Sixty for the US market. Here, we bring to you detailed images of the new motorcycle that is likely to make its way to India sometime this year.
The Scout Bobber Sixty is based on the Scout Sixty that is available in India with a price tag of Rs 12.67 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
It adopts the dark custom look from its bigger version, the Scout Bobber and sports a long wheelbase with low-slung stance, chunky tyres, chopped fenders and twin exhausts. However, it gets a few changes that set it apart from the latter.
There is the stripped-down headlamp, conventionally mounted mirrors in place of the bar-end units of the Scout Bobber and five-spoke wheels instead of the eight-spoke wheels on the bigger model.
The most important highlight is the blacked-out, 999cc, V-twin mill that comes from the Scout Sixty. This motor produces 76.9bhp of power and 88.8Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed transmission. While the engine is smaller, the Scout Bobber Sixty is also around 11kg lighter than the Scout Bobber.
In terms of cycle parts, the Scout Bobber Sixty rides on telescopic forks upfront and twin shocks at the rear. Meanwhile braking hardware consists of disc brakes at both ends with the option of ABS in the US market.
When it is introduced in India, we can expect it to carry a price tag of around Rs 12.8 lakhs to Rs 13 lakhs, ex-showroom.
