Jawa recently updated the 42 Bobber with a new colour scheme in the country.
- Jawa 42 Bobber priced at Rs 2.25 lakh
- Offered in four colours
- No changes to engine or hardware
Classic Legends took the wraps off a new colour for the 42 Bobber in India recently. Now, the uniquely styled motorcycle is offered in a choice of four colour options.
The newest paint called Black Mirror, paint is the most expensive and is offered at Rs 2.25 lakh, ex-showroom. It consists of chrome on the upper half of the tank combined with black on the rest of the bike. Jawa is also offering the 42 Bobber Black Mirror with alloy wheels, unlike the spoke wheels on the rest of the colour options.
The least expensive is the Mystic Copper paint which is priced at Rs 2.12 lakh. The Moonstone White paint with a blue stripe running down the centre of the tank will cost you Rs 2.13 lakh. Meanwhile, the Jasper Red colour that combines red and white will set you back by Rs 2.15 lakh. That being said, the design of the Jawa 42 Bobber continues to remain the same and we aren’t complaining since it is the only bobber-style motorcycle in the price range. The motorcycle also gets elements like the circular LED headlamp, and bar-end mirrors to exude its modern-retro appeal. Even the neat-looking slash-cut exhaust remains the same.
Powering the Jawa 42 Bobber is a 334cc, single-cylinder motor that received a larger throttle body and exhaust ports to improve performance in the 2023 update. It churns out 29.5bhp and 32.7Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
