- New Z650RS gets updated
- India launch next year
- Gets traction control system
Kawasaki has updated the range of its motorcycles for 2024. The modern retro Z650RS has also been part of this update.
The Japanese brand has now given this middle-weight motorcycle traction control system. This same feature was also introduced on other 650cc bikes like the Ninja 650 and the Versys 650. Now, with this safety feature, the Z650RS is not just safer to ride but also highly aspirational.
The Z650RS is known for its styling that dates to the retro world. While it borrows most of the styling cues from the bigger sibling – the Z900RS, the bike still exhibits its cool and mature personality. Things like the round headlamp, single-piece seat, semi-analog and digital cluster, and golden alloy wheels make this Kawasaki look outstanding.
This Kawasaki also uses the same 649cc parallel-twin engine that does duty on the Versys 650, Ninja 650, and many more. This motor develops 67bhp and 64Nm and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. Now, with the traction control system, the rider can access the power in far safer scenarios.
This new Kawasaki Z650RS will likely debut in India early next year. The prices may increase marginally, but that won't bother some Indian consumers who like the concept of modern-retro Kawasaki.
