- New Kawasaki Z900 gets refreshed styling
- Updated electronics package
- Could be launched in India early next year
Kawasaki has unveiled the new Z900 at the 2019 EICMA in Italy. The streetfighter gets cosmetic changes as well as an updated electronics package.
The 2020 Z900's most noticeable visual change is the aggressive full-LED headlamp that follows Kawasaki’s latest evolution of the Sugomi design. The tank shrouds are now sharper and the tail section gets sleeker as well. However, the major change comes in the form of an updated electronics package, something which the outgoing model needed dearly. To begin with, the new Z900 sports a colour TFT screen that is Bluetooth enabled. It also gets a three-mode KRTC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and two power modes which adjust power to suit rider preferences.
Kawasaki is offering the motorcycle in four, dual-tone colour schemes- grey with black, lime green with black, white with black and a matte black with gloss black paint scheme. Apart from this, the streetfighter remains mechanically similar to the Z900 which is sold in India. It comes powered by a Euro 5 compliant, 948cc, inline-four engine that produces 123bhp and 98.6Nm of torque.
We can expect Kawasaki to bring the updated Z900 to our shores sometime early next year.
