Keeway has updated its India portfolio with the launch of its lowest-displacement model, the SR125. This retro classic competes in the 125cc segment of the Indian market and it is available in three colours – Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Red. All colour options are available at the same price tag of Rs 1,19,000.
The colour is visible on the fuel tank and graphics on the side panel. The fuel tank also has the Keeway badge while the side panel boasts of the SR125 logo. All colour options feature a brown seat cover. Further, in terms of design, the SR125 gets a retro styling that comprises a round headlight, a round-shaped single-pod instrument cluster, chrome fuel-filler cap, a 14.5-litre fuel tank, and a ribbed pattern for the seat cover. The feature list includes LED lighting, colour digital instrument cluster, and a combined braking system.
The mechanical specifications on this Keeway product include a BS6-compliant 125cc, single-cylinder, engine that produces a maximum output of 9.5bhp and a peak torque of 8.2Nm. The braking setup comprises a 300mm disc at the front and single 210mm rotor at the back while the suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. Lastly, this motorcycle rides on wire-spoke wheels that are shod in block pattern tyres.
The bookings for the new Keeway SR125 are open and the deliveries are scheduled to start from the last week of October.
