- New KTM 200 Duke gets completely new styling
- Will be available in two colour schemes
- To be launched in India in a few weeks
KTM is expected to launch the new 200 Duke in India in the next couple of weeks. The motorcycle was recently spotted and leaked official images reveal that it will be available in two colour schemes.
In tune with the brand’s colours, the new KTM 200 Duke will be offered in a black and orange paint scheme. KTM will also offer the motorcycle in a white and black paint which features orange graphics on the headlamp cowl. Both paints get colour matched sub-frames and orange wheels.
KTM has given the 200 Duke a complete overhaul in terms of styling which has been borrowed from the 250 Duke. It sports an angular conventionally-lit headlamp unit with LED DRL. The tank is now more muscular and comes with sharp tank extensions. Furthermore, the tail section is also edgier and sports large grab rails. Underneath the new trellis frame, the new 200 Duke will continue with the 199cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor which is BS6-compliant. The motorcycle could continue with the same braking and suspension hardware. Spy images also revealed that the new model retains the same digital instrument cluster.
We can expect the new KTM 200 Duke to demand a premium of around Rs 7,000-Rs 8,000 over the current model which costs Rs 1.62 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
