- New KTM 200 Duke gets completely new styling
- No changes to cycle parts and features
- To be launched in India soon
The new KTM 200 Duke has been spied in India and it gets completely new styling borrowed from its bigger sibling, the 250 Duke.
It sports the angular headlamp unit which features an LED DRL. The tank is muscular and the sharp tank extensions sport bold graphics. Furthermore, the new 200 Duke gets a revised split seat setup with large grab rails fitted on the edgy tail section. And just like the 250 Duke, the new 200 Duke features a neat-looking exposed sub-frame.
Underneath this frame, the new KTM 200 Duke will continue with the 199cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor. While power figures are yet to be revealed, the output from the BS6-compliant engine is likely to remain unchanged. The spy images also reveal that the motorcycle gets the same braking and suspension setup along with the same, digital instrument cluster.
KTM is expected to launch the new 200 Duke after the launch of the new 250 Duke and 390 Duke sometime in February. Given the styling update, the new KTM 200 Duke is likely to demand a premium of around Rs 7,000-Rs 8,000 over the current model which costs Rs 1.62 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
