- Could be launched soon
- Equipped with adjustable front forks
- Likely to feature the same 399cc single-cylinder engine as the current 390 Duke
As the new KTM 390 Adventure’s debut inches closer, we have come across latest spy shots of the bike. It could be launched in the next few months followed by its probable debut at the EICMA this year.
The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure has received a massive revamp in terms of its design, as well as the mechanicals. It now looks in tandem with the bigger Adventure models of the KTM family, thanks to the new headlight setup with the vertically housed LEDs and a slightly taller visor. It gets a tall front fender and new crash guards wrapping the fuel tank extensions.
We expect KTM to use the same 399cc single-cylinder engine for the upcoming 390 Adventure as it does for the current 390 Duke. The motor makes 45.3bhp and 39Nm in the Duke and is expected to do the same for the ADV as well. On the feature front, we expect ride modes, ABS modes, traction control, a quickshifter, a TFT, and more on the bike.
The new KTM 390 Adventure’s hardware is likely to comprise adjustable front forks that the brand currently offers and a monoshock. It rides on spoke wheels which will probably be wrapped with tubed off-road tyres and get a disc at each end.
While these spy shots only show one model, there will be four different variants of the bike. We have done a detailed story on the same.
