- KTM 250 Duke BS6 priced at Rs 2 lakhs
- 390 Duke BS6 costs Rs 2.52 lakhs
- Both have received a price hike of around Rs 4,000-5,000 over the BS4 model
KTM is all set to launch the new BS6-compliant versions of the 390 Duke and the 250 Duke in India soon. After both bikes were spotted recently, our dealer sources have now revealed the prices of the motorcycles. The new 250 Duke has been priced at Rs 2 lakhs while the 390 Duke costs Rs 2.52 lakhs (both are ex-showroom). This is a premium of Rs 4,000 for the former and Rs 5,000 for the latter over their BS4 counterparts.
While the overall styling of the 250 Duke and 390 Duke remains unchanged, they have been updated with new decals and paint scheme. Both bikes will be available in two new colour options. On the feature front, while the 250 Duke will remain identical to the outgoing model, the 390 Duke will come equipped with a bi-directional quick shifter similar to the 390 Adventure.
The most important change comes in the form of a revised engine, updated in accordance with the upcoming emission norms. As we know, the motor of the 390 Adventure is already BS6 complaint and it produces the same power as the existing BS4 390 Duke. This indicates that the latter too won’t witness any changes in its power figures, despite the BS6 update. As for the 250 Duke, its engine details have not been confirmed yet but we expect the power figures to remain unchanged for this bike as well.
Bookings for the new 390 Duke and 250 Duke have begun at select KTM dealerships across India and deliveries will start soon. As for other 125cc and 200cc KTM models, expect them to follow the BS6 suit in a couple of days.
