- KTM RC 125 images leaked
- To be available in two bold colour options
- India launch could take place soon
It looks like KTM might soon go on a launch spree in India. The bike maker’s entire RC line-up has received a major makeover, as observed from the frequently emerging spy shots. While we’re waiting for the official announcement to take place, the original pictures of the smallest RC 125 have leaked on the internet.
KTM will continue with the trend of bestowing all of its RC models with the same styling. The next-generation RC 125 looks identical to the upcoming versions of the RC 200 and the RC 390. There’s a pentagon-shaped headlamp sitting in a larger faring that also integrates a bubble-type windscreen. Unlike the mirror-mounted turn indicators of the existing iteration, this one has them fitted in the front cowl, flanking the headlamp. The fuel tank and tail section have also been redesigned.
Another visual aspect that’s new is the colour palette. The motorcycle will be available in a choice of two colour options including black/orange and white/orange. Both look quite bold and swanky with the frame and wheels finished in bright orange. Other changes have been made to its mechanicals and overall geometry in order to deliver more comfort. Whereas, the 125cc, liquid-cooled, engine is likely to remain majorly unchanged.
KTM might launch the next-gen RC 125 in the coming weeks with a price tag slightly higher than the ongoing model that retails for Rs 1.81 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
