- New KTM RC 390 gets complete makeover
- Revised chassis and new bodywork
- To be unveiled at 2020 EICMA
KTM was spotted testing the new RC 390 a while ago and now, leaked images confirm what the 2020 model will look like.
To begin with, the RC 390 sports completely new bodywork which has sharper lines and contours as compared to the current model. The front end is also more angular and looks similar to the KTM RC8. And as the spy images revealed, the new RC 390 will get a revised full-LED headlamp with the turn indicators integrated in the fairing itself.
The new model will also sport an all-new chassis and revised ergonomics that make it more comfortable and put it in the ballpark of the TVS Apache RR 310. The pillion seat has also been completely redesigned and appears to be flatter and more accommodating. Underneath the refreshed bodywork, the new RC 390 is likely to come powered by a Euro 5/ BS6 compliant version of the 373cc, single-cylinder engine.
Furthermore, the new RC 390 is likely to come in a blue and orange colour scheme that was first revealed on the 2020 1290 Super Duke R. KTM is expected to globally unveil the motorcycle at the 2020 EICMA in Italy. It is likely to be launched in India early in 2021.
