Okinawa Scooters has expanded its current portfolio by launching the new i-Praise e-scooter. Priced at Rs 1.15 lakhs ex-showroom, the company calls the new i-Praise ‘The Intelligent Scooter’ for its top-of-the-line features.
The new i-Praise is the second e-scooter in the company’s line up to feature a lithium-ion battery over a lead-acid battery. In addition to that, the battery is also detachable and can be conveniently charged via a 5A power socket. This feature allows users to recharge the battery at their homes or offices thus providing a solution to the inadequate public charging infrastructure for EVs.
Along with that, the i-Praise comes with several features like geo-fencing, virtual speed limit, curfew hours, battery health tracker, SOS notifications, trips, GPS, maintenance/insurance reminder and vehicle status. All these can be accessed by downloading the ‘Okinawa Eco’ app on Google Play store.
Moreover, the company claims the i-Praise will return a range of 160-180km on a full charge. What's more, charging time for the lithium-ion battery is also a reasonable 2 to 3 hours. The Okinawa i-Praise is available in three colour options glossy red black, glossy golden black and glossy silver black.
