Just a few days before the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350’s official launch, its brochure has leaked online, thus revealing a bevy of details about the bike. Let's take a look at what we know about the bike now.
It’s clear as a day that the new Bullet 350 will retain the previous generation’s design while receiving minor tweaks as well. The round headlight, large and wide fuel tank and scooped single-piece seat are to be carried over. Meanwhile, the tank grips seem to be eliminated and the front fender appears larger. The brochure reveals that Royal Enfield has used a twin downtube frame, an updated exhaust design, and an ergonomically tweaked handlebar as well.
Then, the document also confirms that the new Bullet 350 will be powered by the J-series 350cc motor with its output rated at 20.2bhp and 27Nm. This engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield will offer the new Bullet in three variants. The top-spec model will come with a blacked-out motor and the mid and base models shall get chrome-finished engines.
Apart from that, Royal Enfield will equip the bike with a bulb illumination setup and an analogue instrument console. But, like the Classic 350, the new Bullet will also get a digital inset for added readouts like the fuel level bar, trip meter and more. It will also feature a USB charging port, but we expect only the top-spec trim to get it as standard.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will ride on telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks while the braking hardware will vary as per the variant. Royal Enfield would offer the top and mid-spec models with a front and rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS. Meanwhile, the base model would have a front disc and rear drum with a single-channel setup. It will ride on spoke wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres.
Royal Enfield will also offer a bunch of accessories for the new Bullet 350. The brochure has revealed that it could get options like a new seat, rear luggage rack, footpegs, turn indicators, sump guard, engine crash guard, panniers and more.
The official launch of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has been slated for 1 September. We expect the price to be around Rs 1.65 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai.
