- Will be powered by the J-series motor
- Likely to retain a majority of the design
- Spotted testing multiple times
Royal Enfield India is all set to launch the new Bullet 350 very soon. Its launch date has been slated for 30 August, which is about 41 days from now. The upcoming Bullet 350 test mule has been spotted multiple times and we already know a fair bit of its details too.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be powered by the brand’s J-series 349cc, single-cylinder motor for its latest generation. It’ll be linked to a five-speed gearbox. This is the same engine that the Chennai-based bikemaker currently uses for the Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350. Apart from that, the new Bullet will carry over a majority of its design but will get subtle cosmetic tweaks as well.
We expect it to retain the round bulb headlight, teardrop-shaped wide fuel tank, and ribbed two-piece seat as well. Meanwhile, its hardware setup will comprise telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. Its braking hardware will include a front disc and rear drum along with an optional rear disc brake. The new Bullet 350 will get spoke wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres. Its instrument console will be a simple setup overall, which could include a speedometer, odometer, and a small digital inset for other readouts.
The Bullet 350 holds immense sentimental value in quite a few parts of India, so it makes sense for Royal Enfield to revive the name. It will be positioned above the Hunter 350, which is currently the brand’s most affordable bike.
