Royal Enfield took the wraps off the new 2024 edition of the Classic 350 yesterday, 12 August. The motorcycle has received multiple subtle updates which includes the introduction of seven new colour options and the palette is split across five different categories.
The range-topping Heritage Series gets interestingly named Madras Red and Jodhpur Blue colour options. This is accompanied by the Heritage Premium category which comprises the warm-looking Medallion Bronze. Royal Enfield has also introduced the Dark Series under which it will sell Gun Grey and Stealth Black colourways while the Signals Series gets the new Commando Sand trim. Further, there’s an Emerald shade which is a distinctive combination of dark green along with chrome elements.
Other updates come in the form of LED headlamp, LED pilot lamps, a gear position indicator within the LCD dash, and a Type C USB charging point. Some of the higher variants also get a Tripper pod, adjustable brake and clutch levers, and LED indicators as standard. The core technical specifications of the Classic 350 have remained the same as before.
It continues to be powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 20.7bhp and 27Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. It rides on 18-inch spoke wheels at both ends with telescopic front forks and dual springs at the rear. While the older, more affordable variants get a disc-drum combination with single-channel ABS, the new models get a disc brake at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
The prices of the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will be announced on 1 September, 2024. As of now, it starts from Rs. 1.93 lakh and goes up to Rs. 2.25 lakh, ex-showroom.
