- Painted in black with golden accents
- Features tubed spoke wheels
- Powered by 452cc, liquid-cooled motor
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has been spotted again and this time it was coloured black with golden accents and wheels. The global debut of the upcoming Himalayan 452 will happen in the first week of November at the EICMA 2023 in Milan and we are just a few days away from riding it.
The bike you see here has one of the many paint schemes that Royal Enfield will offer for the Himalayan 452. Apart from the black and golden theme, the bike has also been spotted in white, red with grey, grey with blue, and white with grey. Moreover, the new Himalayan has been seen testing having cross-spoke wheels with tubeless tyres as well as regular spoke wheels with tubed tyres. So, the brand is likely to offer the cross-spokes as an accessory.
The Himalayan 452 will feature LED illumination and a fully digital TFT screen with a host of data. We have also seen the instrument console feature Google Maps, a first for a Royal Enfield bike. Then, there will also be smartphone connectivity for added convenience and rider aids could include ABS, side stand cut-off, and more.
Powering the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be a 452cc, liquid-cooled motor. It will dish out 39.57bhp at 8,000rpm and is expected to make about 40-45Nm. The motor will be linked to a six-speed gearbox. Our sources have also revealed that the Himalayan’s weight could be around 196kg, which makes it even lighter than the current Himalayan 411. It will ride on USD front forks and a monoshock, while the braking hardware will include a single front and rear disc.
We expect the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 to have multiple variants and its asking price to be around 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom).
