Now, the only visual change on the new Himalayan is the option of new paint schemes. These include- Gravel Grey (featured here), Rock Red and a Lake Blue colour which will be sold alongside the existing Snow White, Granite Black and Sleet Grey paint schemes.
Moreover, Royal Enfield has upgraded the electronics package by equipping the Himalayan with a switchable ABS that turns off the system to the rear wheel. It also gets a hazard light switch for additional safety and a revised side stand design.
Powering the new Himalayan is a BS6-compliant, 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor which produces 24.3bhp of power and 32Nm of torque. The motor retains the five-speed transmission.
