Suzuki Motorcycle India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the new Avenis 125cc scooter. This new scooter from the Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler maker is available from Rs 86,700 onwards.
The new Avenis is available in five colours - Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey/Metallic Lush Green, Pearl Blaze Orange/Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matte Black/Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mirage White/Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey, and Metallic Triton Blue (Race Edition). The Metallic Triton Blue (Race Edition) colour, which features MotoGP inspired graphics, carries a marginal price premium over the other paint options. It is available at Rs 87,000 as against Rs 86,700 for other variants.
The feature list on this premium scooter includes the Suzuki Ride Connect Bluetooth module that brings access to turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call, SMS and WhatsApp alert display, missed call and unread SMS alerts, speed exceeding warning, phone battery level display, and estimated time of arrival. The Avenis uses a 125cc, single-cylinder engine with fuel-injection technology that makes 8.5bhp of power and 10Nm of peak torque. It tips the weighing scale at 106kg.
