- Gets a larger 12-inch rear wheel
- Also get an auto start-stop function and a silent starter
- Rs 19,000 more expensive than before
Suzuki has launched the updated model of its 125cc maxi-styled scooter, the Burgman Street 125. The name of the scooter now gets an ‘EX’ suffix besides other changes on the hardware and feature front. It has been priced at Rs 1,12,300 (ex-showroom) which is Rs 19,000 more than the Bluetooth variant of the existing iteration.
Suzuki has finally done away with the smaller 10-inch rear wheel on the new Burgman Street EX and has replaced it with a larger 12-inch unit. This will not only add to the stability of the scooter but also make the aesthetics more proportionate. The list of features is also longer now with the introduction of an engine auto start-stop function and a silent starter system.
Suzuki has also tweaked the engine of the Burgman Street EX internally to improve its fuel efficiency. This has been achieved by introducing a more advanced version of its Suzuki Eco Performance technology which works concertedly with the new auto start-stop function. Moreover, the new EX iteration retains the Suzuki Ride Connect feature which facilitates pairing the console with the rider’s smartphone to give access to turn-by-turn navigation and mobile communication alerts.
Lastly, Suzuki has introduced three new colour options for the new Burgman Street EX namely Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2, Metallic Royal Bronze, and Metallic Matte Black No. 2
