Suzuki has announced that it will unveil the new Hayabusa on 5 February, 2021. The company has already released a teaser video, giving a brief glimpse at the latest iteration of the motorcycle while keeping the overall styling concealed. However, a leaked photograph of the new Suzuki Hayabusa gives a detailed look at the motorcycle.
The latest iteration of the motorcycle carries forward the overall silhouette of its predecessor, although the new model looks sharper than ever. Similar to its predecessor, the new Hayabusa will retain the twin-sided exhaust setup. The exhaust canister, though, gets an angular look. Apart from the styling changes, the new model will also feature an updated instrument cluster that will include a small TFT display. The new screen will show ride-related data such as gear position indicator, power mode, traction control setting, temperature, and the lean-angle.
Apart from the styling upgrade, the new model will also get an updated motor that will comply with the latest emission norms. The specs about the engine are yet to be revealed, but the new Hayabusa will continue to pack promising performance. The teaser video showed the motorcycle clock 180mph (290kmph). All the power will be tamed by a comprehensive electronics package that should comprise of ABS, rear-lift control, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, and more.
The updated motorcycle is expected to arrive in India, although the company is yet to make an announcement.
