- New Hayabusa teased
- Gets brand new instrument cluster
- Likely to get new engine
It looks like the wait for the next generation Suzuki Hayabusa is finally over. The company has just posted a teaser video of the new Hayabusa on their YouTube channel.
It’s clear from the teased video that the new Hayabusa will retain the ‘one of the fastest bikes on the planet tag’. The bike was seen doing almost 300kmph on an enclosed track. The video also revealed the instrument cluster which is similar to the old model. It gets analog dials for speedometer and tachometer but now there’s also a small TFT display to showcase other ride data.
In terms of overall design, we can expect the Japanese manufacturer to retain certain design elements of the old bike, but will be seen with new modern elements. In short, the new Hayabusa is bound to have enticing aesthetics.
Currently, there’s no information on the engine of the new Hayabusa but we can expect it to be a brand new motor with really good power figures. The six-speed gearbox is likely to be new. The bike will also be equipped with lots of electronics to keep the rider safe at such high speeds. Suzuki will unveil this new Hayabusa on February 5 and is likely to launch including India in the next few months.
