- Gets three colour options
- Priced form Rs 2.11 lakh
- Based on the Gixxer 250
Suzuki has launched the V-Strom 250 in India with a price tag of Rs 2.11 lakh, ex-showroom. And the manufacturer is offering the adventure-touring motorcycle with a choice of three colour options.
The V-Strom 250 SX borrows more than just styling inspiration from the V-Strom 1050 XT. Even its paint schemes are similar. You can have the V-Strom 250 in Champion Yellow which sports contrasting black components and blue graphics. Or, the motorcycle can be had in Pearl Blaze Orange as well that incorporates orange and black, just like the 2021 V-Strom 1050. That said, Suzuki is also offering their smallest ADV in Glass Sparkle Black which comes with red highlights.
Now, the Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX is not what we expected. Different from the international model, it is based on the Gixxer 250 sold here. However, it carries credible features to make it adventure-friendly. To begin with, it rides on a 19/17-inch alloy wheel combo with dual-purpose tyres. The V-Strom also offers 205mm of ground clearance which is decent while the 835mm of seat height makes it accessible. Powering the Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX is a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that churns out 26.5bhp and 22.2Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
In terms of competition, the Suzuki V-Strom 250 rivals against the KTM 250 Adventure, the Royal Enfield Himalayan and Yezdi Adventure as well.
